Anime Banzai is an event that I try to attend every year.
Why? Because you can see real anime characters jump out of the screen and interact with you. Some are scary, some are dreamy, some are funny, and some are …. creative!
When the characters are in real size, they seem very scary (If they don’t talk), but they are all very friendly when you actually chat with them. They love to talk about how they make their costumes, why they like certain characters…., etc.
I always run a booth at the Artist’s Alley to show off my hand-made felt creations. This year,
felt friends,
sushi plates 壽司, and
bento 便當 are the top sellers.
People always shouted “K-a-w-a-i-i” when they see my felt art. A lot of them did complain “your booth is making me REALLY hungry.”
It is an awesome experience to mingle with people at the convention.

He made this carry-on cabinet by hand, and it turns out to be a well- organized shopping bag.

This clown has a creepy smile, but before I took his picture, he politely asked me if he could take a picture of me and my felt creation.
They pose for you any time; they can change facial expressions and body postures any time like a pro.
